The San Telmo Museum, located in the heart of the Old Town, has reopened its doors after a complete renovation. The ancient Dominican monastery of the XVIth century has been rehabilitated and extended with an avant-garde building of contemporary architecture. San Telmo has been transformed into a Basque Society and Citizenship Museum and offers a fresh look at our society. A key factor for this is an exhibition of the archaeological, ethnographic, documentary and artistic collections of the museum that are accompanied by the audio-visual works of the best creators of the Basque scene and an ambitious plan for disseminating activities.
